Robert Mata - Francesa Woodman

Francesca Stern Woodman (April 3, 1958 – January 19, 1981) was an American photographer best recognized for her black and white photos exhibiting either herself or other female models. Many of her photos capture women, nude or clothed, blurred (because of movement or long exposure times), blending with their environment, whose faces are usually hidden.
Through various intentional moments of vulnerability, Woodman discovered a way to transverse the basic aesthetics of her own body, challenging wider notions of the self, gender, body image and identity.
