Jessica Hawkins reviews Mark Shaw

Mark Shaw is an American photographer that became very well known for his photographs of the Kennedy's. He had a strong relationship with the whole family, visited the White House regularly, and became their "unofficial" family photographer. Although he became very well known for the shoot he did of Jackie and John F. Kennedy for Life magazine, he began his photography career in fashion. He did many shoots with famous celebrities such as Pablo Picasso, Brigitte Bardot, Grace Kelly, Coco Chanel, and many more. The words I would use to describe Mark's work would be elegant, clean, and iconic. His photos capture that old and classic feel, while also giving us a peak at the emotions and connection to the subjects of his pieces.
