Jennifer Wall reviews Tatiana Plakhova

Tatiana Plakhova

Tatiana Plakhova's work combines art with science with deeply inspired by patterns of biological organisms. She creates everything manually with mixed media software for what she calls "infographic abstracts."  In her exhibition Bio, Plakhova displays illuminated prints in which her mathematical style helps her to illustrate space and meditative worlds.  The lit, bright colored pieces invite the viewer from across the room and into dream-like worlds that they wish we could visit but do not realize live within them.

Plakhova graduated form Moscow State University with a masters in Social Psychology, then studied graphic design a Tagir Safaer.
