I came across this photo on pinterest.com and I considered it the perfect example of the decisive moment.

This photo was taken by Stanley J. Forman and if you look at some of his other work he seems to be a master of the decisive moment. His work is mainly documentary but he captures some of the most thrilling and intimate moments in history. I have always seen documentary photography as an inspiration to go out and see the world and capture the same kind of photos. Forman's work reinforces that inspiration for me.
