David Finell submits Steve Ward

Bird photography can be some of the most challenging and rewarding photography available.  To catch a majestic bird in flight clearly so that every strand of every feather is clearly discernable is daunting at best.  But when it is achieved the imagery is nearly always stunning.  Steve Ward showcases the grace, majesty, and form of our fine feathered friends in his mastery of technique and I’m sure better than average optics.  His use of a narrow depth of field against the birds natural environment cause the subjects to pop.  It is easy to spend more than a few minutes examining the shape, airfoils, and markings displayed in his images.  Please enjoy.
