Abigail reviews Bertil Nilsson

Bertil Nilsson is a photographer who started off practicing with his roommates, who happened to work  for a contemporary circus in London.

In his book, Nilsson features the circus performers in their space of work, but out of costume or any other piece of clothing. He accentuates the beauty of the human body and  the elasticity and strength of a performer, resulting in gorgeous black and white nudes.
