Blair Bodden submits Marcelo Isarrualde

Marcelo Isarrualde was born in 1961 in Montevideo, Uruguay. After graduating as an architect he moved to New York to complete his academic career at Columbia University. He initiated his career as a press media photographer. Isarrualda has lived in Barcelona since 1991 working as a freelance photographer where he specializes in reportage, portrait, and architectural photography. Isarrualda has a book called the Raluy Circus which is a series of 97 images used to define the circus as a virtual presence and as an illusion. I find this series intriguing with the way each individual was portrayed and shot. It gives me ideas for my final project on the blue collar workers.
Isarrualda has several other works his website is
