Andrew Stansbury submits Edward Burtynsky

Edward Burtynsky devours the gouged man-made landscapes and digests them into something fantastical and beautiful. His fascination with contrasting the industry-scavenged sites with beauty creates a strain in the viewer. These devastations to the land exist only because of our material need for more products to possess.
